1 Year Old

WOW, a whole year has gone by. Where has time gone. I can't believe my little girl is 1 already. I still remember the day i brought her home.I never knew how much joy a baby of my own would bring to our lives. Sure it changes your whole lifestyle but it is totally worth it.  I love being a mom and Jeff loves being a dad. Allison smiles and runs to jeff soon as he walks in the door, he doesnt even have time to take off his coat. Everyday is something new with her and it's wonderful. Allison has impressed me with everything she has down in the past year, like walking at 9 months. I never thought i would be chasing her around like that so early. She keeps be on my toes.She is a very happy girl,smiling and laughing almost all the time. She's our little lovebug :)  So,  Allison at 1 is now becoming very opinionated about what we do. It's like a switch went off when she turned one. She is eating by herself with a fork and spoon now she wants no help  from mom or dad. She loves being outside, it's going to be a fun summer.  She is signing alot of words and starting to say words you can understand alot more.  This past week she was saying book,bubble, and apple. She is trying to dress herself now, it's really fun to watch that.She loves her flip books, loves discovering what is behind the flaps. She loves giving me kisses now i love it :)  Her 1st birthday party was great we did Horton the elephant and dr.seuss friends as her theme. She got lots of nice gifts! We turned her carseat around and she loves watching the cars in front of us. We went to Philly this past week and she picked up the siren sound from the firetrucks, police cars, etc.  So she walks around making siren sounds its so cute.  At the park she loved chasing the squirrels also had fun playing with the other kids and dogs. It's been a great year, looking forward to what the next year brings with Allison!
