It's been one week since Allison was born. here is a video of our thoughts about this time.

It wouldn't be a newborn if we werent both up at at 4am with a cranky baby would it?

Friday Night into Saturday Morning was another good night, Allison slept 4.5 hours between feedings and we both had decent amounts of sleep.

Heather woke up Saturday Morning with her spinal headache mostly gone. We had plans to go to the hopital that morning to get the Blood Patch if she woke up and still had the spinal headache.

Heather is the unlucky one out of every 200 epidural patients who gets to experience the joy of a Spinal Headache.

Hey everyone, Proud Daddy here, Things have been pretty cool and crazy this far. I hope that you have been enjoying the photos from the hospital so far. Isn't she just the cutest and smartest baby ever born?

Since the baby was a week late, the doctors scheduled us for induction. We arrived at the hospital at 6 pm Sunday March 2nd, after check-in we were taken to the labor and delivery room. It was a slow night both in the emergency room and in the delivery rooms. I was able to get one of the newly remodled delivery rooms which is quite nice. They gave me medicine to soften the cervix which will help with labor when they induce in the morning. I was dilated at 3 cm when we arrived. I watched some TV and waited for morning.

We're at the hospital and just waiting for morning. Here is a video that we just shot. The hospital has free WiFi which rocks. but they block Youtube! so I had to upload the video over my work VPN.

June 19th is when it all began, i took a test right before work and woke Jeff up. He was a little out of it didnt know what i was doing turning on his light at 5:30 in the morning. We were both excited!

Well, Ive come into a bit of a predicament. We have the blog for the baby once it comes, and we wanted to name the blog after the baby. BUT we haven't told anyone the baby's name yet. It would have been fun to put up an Ethel weblog but it wouldn't of been an easy change to Allison once the baby is born. And who knows, there is still a chance of it being a boy.
